Spot-On Insights is the preferred partner of the Dutch Foundation for Pharmaceutical Statistics (SFK) in delivering market and patient insights to pharmaceutical companies in the Netherlands. SFK gathers its data directly from more than 98% of the retail pharmacies in the Netherlands, including all outpatient pharmacies (politheken).

SFK’s pharmacy panel covers about 16.5 million people and dispenses drugs or medical aids some 240 million times per year. For each dispensation, SFK registers information about the drug supplied, the dispensing pharmacy, the health insurance company (costs reimbursed or not), the prescribing doctor and the patient (anonymized) for whom the prescription was issued. SFK thus has the most extensive collection of data in this field in the Netherlands.

For pharma companies, this means Spot-On Insights can deliver excellent and highly reliable data on the relevant market of any pharmacy delivered product, including many hospital products dispensed by outpatient pharmacies. All data is sell-out data covering the total market.
